Delete your Pocket Cat account and data

Apps: Pocket Cat for Android and iPhone (com.pocketcat.galchi)

Developer: GitHub account jhyang12345

You can request deletion here even if you have uninstalled Pocket Cat or no longer have your old device.

Request deletion by email

Email a Pocket Cat deletion request

Or email jhyang123494@gmail.com with the subject Pocket Cat account and data deletion request.

  1. Tell us which email address you used to sign in to Pocket Cat: your Google email, or for Sign in with Apple, your Apple email or the Hide My Email relay address. Send the request from that address if possible so we can verify ownership.
  2. State whether you want your Pocket Cat account and associated data deleted, or only specified data.
  3. If you bought gems, include an approximate purchase date or the order ID from your Google Play or App Store receipt if available. This helps locate RevenueCat records, including records from older anonymous installations. You can request deletion without making a purchase or having an order ID.

We may need to verify ownership before deleting an account. We will reply with any verification needed and confirmation of the result, including any records that cannot be removed and the reason. Never send your Google or Apple password, payment-card details or purchase tokens.

What the request covers

Firebase documents an Authentication deletion period of up to 180 days for live and backup systems. Google Play and the App Store keep payment records under Google’s and Apple’s policies, and device backups are controlled through your Android or iCloud backup settings. Deleting Pocket Cat data does not delete your Google or Apple account or provide a purchase refund.

We cannot remotely remove guest saves or Photo Mode pictures that exist only on a device. On Android, clear Pocket Cat’s app data or uninstall it to remove app-private local data; on iPhone, delete the app. Delete exported photos separately from Pictures/Pocket Cat or your device’s gallery on Android, or from the Photos app on iPhone.

Delete the cloud account in the app

In Pocket Cat, open Settings → Account & cloud save → Delete cloud account, then confirm the same Apple or Google account you linked to your cat. Internet access is required. This removes the cloud save and Firebase account; for an Apple account, Pocket Cat also revokes its Sign in with Apple authorization. Your cat remains on the device as a guest.

For RevenueCat purchase-record deletion, or if the app reports that deletion could not finish, use the email request above. Signing out, uninstalling or clearing app data alone does not delete the cloud account.
